It is always frightening meeting someone new, especially to share your story but rest assured, we are here to guide you through it. While it may seem like, as the therapist, we have all the answers, it’s crucial to recognise that you are the expert in your own life, journey, and narrative.

Our role is to accompany you, offering support as we explore and understand the challenges you face, making the path ahead less daunting and promoting a more balanced well-being.

Step A – Getting to Know You

When you decide to connect with us, our journey begins with the assessment process. This initial stage introduces  you to your therapist, their therapeutic approaches and allows them to understand you, your unique journey and present circumstances.

Together, we uncover the how's, the why's, and the recurring patterns that have shaped your current situation. This sets the stage for identifying your goals and collaboratively developing your specific treatment plan, which leads us to the next step.

Step B – Treatment Plan

At the core of your treatment plan are you and your goals. Our approach is integrative and person-centred tailored to align with your unique challenges and aspirations. . Focusing on building the therapeutic relationship as the integral part in achieving positive changes during your treatment and the psychological process. 

Drawing from models such as Compassion-Focus Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Attachment approaches. We craft a personalised plan that resonates with your holistic well-being.

Step C – The Process or How It Works

Our collaborative journey involves weekly or fortnightly sessions lasting up to 50 minutes.  During these sessions, we work together to outline and envision the attainment of your goals. Together, we ensure your treatment needs are met efficiently and effectively. The aim is to deepen your understanding of the challenges you face, develop strategies to navigate and prevent them, and recognise your strengths. This holistic approach empowers you to achieve a balanced life and overall well-being.
